Services / productions

Vesimentor OÜ is a plastic contract manufacturer based in Pärnu, Estonia, serving OEMs across Scandinavia, DACH and the Baltic region. Our engineering and production facility offers the complete industrial manufacturing portfolio — injection moulding, rotational moulding, vacuum forming, vacuum metallizing, FIPFG sealing, potting, CNC machining and ultrasonic welding — under ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and NATO AQAP 2110 quality systems.

Why nearshore plastic manufacturing to Estonia?

Rising logistics costs, long lead times and geopolitical risk have pushed Western European and Nordic OEMs to re-evaluate far-shore manufacturing. Estonia offers a rare combination: EU single-market membership, NATO jurisdiction, labour costs well below Germany and Sweden, a 30-year industrial plastics tradition, and direct road-ferry access to Finland, Sweden, Germany and Poland within 24–48 hours.

  • EU and NATO jurisdiction — predictable contracts, no customs friction, REACH and CE compliance built in.
  • Cost structure 30–50% below Germany on comparable tolerance and certification levels.
  • Timezone alignment — EET, one hour ahead of CET. Same workday; English and German are working languages.
  • Ferry and road logistics — Tallinn–Helsinki 2h, Tallinn–Stockholm overnight, truck to Hamburg 24h, to Munich 36h.

One-stop-shop portfolio for plastic parts

Unlike most Baltic manufacturers that specialise in a single process, Vesimentor combines all core plastic manufacturing technologies under one roof. You can source part geometry, surface finish, sealing, potting and assembly from a single partner — with one quality system, one project manager, one delivery stream:

  • Injection moulding — engineered thermoplastics, 2K overmoulding, metal-insert moulding.
  • Rotational moulding — large hollow parts in PE and XLPE, up to roughly 1,500 L volume.
  • Vacuum forming — HDPE, HIPS, ABS, PETG — from prototype to mid-volume series.
  • Vacuum metallizing — decorative and functional PVD chrome for automotive lighting, cosmetics and consumer goods. REACH-compliant alternative to hexavalent chromium plating.
  • FIPFG sealing and electronics potting — automated in-line PU foam dispensing for enclosures, panels and electronic modules.
  • CNC plastic machining — prototypes, small series and post-processing of moulded parts.
  • Ultrasonic welding — clean, additive-free joining for enclosures and sub-assemblies.

Procurement teams routinely run plastic-component supply chains across four or five separate suppliers — an injection moulder, a vacuum metallizer, a CNC shop, a sealing subcontractor, and an assembly house. Each handover adds cost, lead time, quality variance, and an additional accountability gap. Vesimentor performs all of these processes in one facility under one quality system. This page explains how our vertically integrated multi-process DFM, custom assembly equipment building, and single-source execution eliminate inter-supplier risk, lead time, and hidden costs.

Vacuum Forming (Thermoforming) of Plastic Sheet — Contract Manufacturing in Estonia

Vacuum forming — also known as thermoforming — is a process in which a heated plastic sheet is stretched over a mould and drawn tight against it by vacuum, then cooled and trimmed to shape. It produces large, thin-walled, seamless plastic parts at a lower tooling cost than injection moulding, making it well suited to covers, panels, enclosures and illuminated signage.

Vesimentor, based in Pärnu, Estonia since 1997, runs this vacuum forming line for parts up to 1.4 × 1.4 m, certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and AQAP 2110. Thermoformed parts can be finished in-house with vacuum metallizing for a mirror-like finish, or combined with injection-moulded and FIPFG-sealed components — delivered as one ready-to-install assembly from a single supplier.

FIPFG Gasket Sealing and Electronics Potting — Contract Manufacturing in Estonia

FIPFG (Formed-In-Place Foam Gasket, also spelled FIPG) is an automated foam gasket sealing process in which a robot-controlled dispensing head applies a liquid two-component polyurethane foam bead directly onto a plastic part, where it expands and cures in place. This method replaces traditional die-cut, glued-in gaskets and produces a continuous, IP-rated seal that matches the part's contour exactly.

Vesimentor, based in Pärnu, Estonia since 1997, applies FIPFG sealing and potting exclusively to plastic parts produced in its own factory, certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and AQAP 2110. Substrates come from our own injection moulding or vacuum forming lines, and can be finished with vacuum metallizing — sealing, moulding and finishing delivered from a single supplier.

Vesimentor is a vertically integrated plastic component partner for European lighting brands, sensor and optics manufacturers, and producers of high-end visual and decorative products. We design, mould, finish, metallize, lacquer, assemble and ship — under one roof in Pärnu, Estonia, with a single quality system and a single point of accountability.

Plastic Injection Moulding in Estonia — Contract Manufacturing for the Baltics and Nordics

Plastic injection moulding is a manufacturing process in which molten thermoplastic is injected under pressure into a steel mould, cooled and ejected as a finished part. It produces dimensionally precise, repeatable components at volumes from a pilot series to hundreds of thousands of units per year, without the buyer owning or operating production equipment.

Vesimentor has been a plastic injection moulding contract manufacturer in Pärnu, Estonia, since 1997, supplying the Baltic and Nordic industrial supply chain with clamping forces up to 500 tonnes and certification to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and AQAP 2110. Where required, we finish the moulded part in-house with vacuum metallizing or FIPFG gasket sealing and potting, and can combine it with rotationally moulded hollow components — delivered as one ready-to-install assembly from a single supplier.

Rotational Moulding Manufacturer in Estonia — Seamless Hollow Parts for the Baltic and Nordic Market

Rotational moulding (also called rotomoulding) is a plastic manufacturing process in which powdered polyethylene is loaded into a closed mould, heated while rotating biaxially, and cools into a seamless, one-piece hollow part — a tank, container or enclosure — without weld lines or internal stress points. It is well suited to rugged, long-service parts for the Baltic and Nordic industrial market.

Vesimentor, based in Pärnu, Estonia since 1997, manufactures rotationally moulded parts certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and AQAP 2110, supplying the Baltic and Nordic industrial market directly from its own tooling and production floor. Rotomoulded parts can be finished in-house with vacuum metallizing or FIPFG gasket sealing, and combined with injection-moulded components — delivered as one ready-to-install assembly from a single supplier.

Vacuum Metallizing of Plastic Parts — Chrome Effect Finishing in Estonia

Vacuum metallizing is a coating process that deposits a microscopically thin layer of aluminium onto a plastic part inside a vacuum chamber, followed by a protective topcoat, to create a mirror-bright chrome effect on plastic without electroplating. Unlike traditional chrome plating, it uses no hexavalent chromium, making it REACH-compliant for automotive, lighting and consumer applications.

Vesimentor, based in Pärnu, Estonia since 1997, operates a vacuum metallizing line applying chrome, gold and reflector finishes to parts produced in the same facility, certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and AQAP 2110. Metallized parts start as injection-moulded or vacuum-formed components and can be finished further with FIPFG gasket sealing — moulding, metallizing and sealing from a single supplier.

Vesimentor is one of a small number of plastic contract manufacturers in the Baltic and Nordic region certified to AQAP 2110 — the NATO Quality Requirements for Design, Development and Production. Combined with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, vertically integrated capability across moulding, machining, finishing and assembly, and EU-jurisdiction intellectual-property protection, this makes us a qualifying supplier for defence, security and critical-infrastructure programmes that demand traceable quality, controlled change management and confidential customer relationships.
