Identify the role of each component
A housing, reflector body and decorative bezel have different requirements. In the enquiry, identify the function of each plastic part, the mating components and the surfaces that are visually or functionally critical.
Specify the metallized surface
Vesimentor applies vacuum metallizing to plastic components for reflective or decorative surfaces. Include the substrate material, appearance reference and required coating performance. A specific optical result or service life cannot be inferred from the process name.
Review sealing at enclosure level
Where the luminaire needs protection against dust or water, specify the complete enclosure and closing arrangement. FIPFG foam gasketing can be considered within the manufacturing route, but the required IP protection level must be verified on the finished assembly.
Include assembly and inspection
Show the components that will be fitted after moulding or finishing and identify the acceptance criteria for the completed assembly. Potting, welding or machining requirements should be included where applicable, so their suitability can be reviewed with the other operations.
Send one component specification
Provide the drawings, material requirements, quantity, appearance reference and functional checks. State which operations you need Vesimentor to supply and which requirements must be approved before serial production.
